From a quick visual reply to detailed feedback, keep your message on the image instead of writing another long explanation.
Choose the exact part of your screen you want to show. Use the Windows companion for Print Screen capture, then reselect the area or cancel when needed.
Annotate directly in the desktop capture overlay. Add pen strokes, arrows, lines, boxes, circles, text, and highlights without opening a separate editor.
Open Show more to add message bubbles, rounded boxes, numbered steps, and symbols. Adjust text size, color, line width, fill, and opacity to suit your screenshot.
Press Ctrl+C or use Copy to put the selected, annotated screenshot on your clipboard. Paste the image into an app that supports image pasting, or save a PNG file.
Choose Upload and confirm when you want to share online. Only the finished PNG is uploaded. Send the viewing link and set the image to expire after 1, 7, or 30 days.
Cover sensitive text with opaque black redaction. Blur and pixelation are also available for visual edits. Use solid redaction when information must be hidden.
The Windows desktop companion lets you start a capture from your keyboard. Select an area and work with the floating toolbar beside it. Copy the result, save a PNG, or open sharing when you are ready.
Show more keeps extra annotation tools within reach. Undo and redo let you adjust your edits, while Cancel closes the capture when you change your mind.
Print Screen requires the desktop companion to be running and the shortcut to be available. The browser editor does not register a system-wide Print Screen shortcut.
Press Print Screen in the Windows companion and drag around what matters. The fallback shortcut is Ctrl+Shift+Space. You can also use the full-screen option.
Point to a detail with an arrow, highlight the relevant section, or explain a change with a text bubble and numbered steps.
Use Ctrl+C to copy the finished image. Save it as a PNG for later, or confirm an upload to create a viewing link.
Capturing and annotating do not automatically publish your screen. Copy and local PNG exports stay on your device. When you confirm an upload, the server receives the flattened image, not your original image, editable layers, or undo history.
Anyone with a viewing link can see the shared image until it expires or is revoked. Check your screenshot before you upload.

Capture the error, highlight the relevant part, and label the steps. Give your developer or support team a clear visual reference.
Use arrows, numbered steps, and message bubbles to turn a screenshot into a quick guide for clients, teammates, or customers.
Here is how screen capture, image copying, and sharing work.
Run the Windows desktop companion, press Print Screen, and drag to select an area. If Windows opens its own snipping interface, turn off the Windows setting that uses Print Screen to open screen snipping, then retry the shortcut from the companion's tray menu. Ctrl+Shift+Space is available as a fallback.

No. The desktop capture overlay includes annotation tools beside the selection. Open Show more for message bubbles, icons, numbered steps, text styling, blur, and pixelation. The browser editor is also available for working with images in your browser.
No. Capturing, editing, copying, and local saving do not automatically upload the image. Sharing requires choosing Upload and confirming it. Only the flattened PNG is uploaded; the original image, editable layers, and undo history are not included.
You can choose an expiry of 1, 7, or 30 days when uploading. Anyone with the viewing link can see the finished image while the link is active. Access is denied after expiry or revocation.
Redaction covers the selected area with solid, fully opaque black. Blur and pixelation change how an area looks, but they are not a substitute for solid redaction when hiding sensitive information. Review the finished image before sharing it.
